Tanker drivers in Rivers State, on Monday, blocked a section of the East-West road from C4i junction to Ogbakiri junction in the Emohua Local Government Area of the state.
It was reported that the drivers took the action following a misunderstanding between them and the Rivers State internal revenue task force.
In an update, Facebook user, Uyi Eunice Umashime, revealed that normalcy had returned to the road. She said, “Normalcy returns to the Emohua section of the East-West road earlier barricaded by truck drivers following a misunderstanding between members of the Rivers State internal revenue task force and truck drivers. There is free flow of traffic on the road now following the intervention of the chairman of Emohua LGA,
