NASS Advocates Increase In Army’s Efforts Budgetary Allocations

The National Assembly has reaffirmed its commitment to seek funding for the Nigerian Army in order to make its work go smoothly.

Abdulrazak Namdas, the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Army, stated this during a meeting with the 8 Division of Nigerian Army in Sokoto.

Represented by a member of the committee, Ibrahim Rabah, he promised that the committee was committed to providing more funds for the Nigerian Army.

“The army, together with other security agencies, had done well in the fight against banditry, kidnapping and other crimes in the country,” he said.
