A lady has jumped into the Lagos lagoon after reportedly having a heated conversation with her fiancé.
Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, permanent secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), in a statement on Thursday, said the lady yet-to-be-identified is in her late thirties
He said she was in a taxi, when she alighted and plunged into the lagoon, adding that search is ongoing to locate her.
“Upon arrival of the LRT at the incident scene, investigation revealed that a lady in her late thirties (30s) plunged into the Lagos lagoon,” the statement reads.
